The Police in Lagos said they had captured an individual from a two-man burglary posse, which professedly ransacked a 81-year-old lady of about N7m and different assets.
Police representative in the state, Dolapo Badmos, a Superintendent of Police, who affirmed this to newsmen on Sunday in Lagos, said that the associate was captured by agents with Rapid Response Squad.
Badmos said the suspect had told the police that the pioneer of the posse, now everywhere, was a cultivator.
She said that the suspect assaulted the old lady at her Oduduwa Street, Itire, Lagos, home at around 8 p.m. what's more, confiscated her of 10,000 dollars (about N4.7 million), 5,000 pounds sterling (about N1.8 million) and N100,000.
Badmos said, "Different assets gathered from the lady, as per Badmos, were a case containing arranged adornments.
"The suspect admitted that he was just welcomed into the theft by the cultivator, essentially distinguished as Demola.
"He asserted he guaranteed to give him 50 for each penny from the plunder.
"The instigator was treating one of the lady's little girls (name withheld) who had sore on her right foot.
"At whatever point the woman went to him for treatment, he was dependably gorgeously gathering data about her mom from her.
"Obscure to the woman, he had gathered every single vital portrayal and data expected to burglarize the lady."
She said that the summon was trying to capture the posse pioneer, vowing that the police "would investigate every possibility to check violations from developing in any way in the state''.
"The suspect has been exchanged to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad for further examination,'' she included.
