The Punch reports that the rancher, Nwadei Monday Ikechukwu, was gunned down on Thursday, June 16, when he was returning home from his plantain ranch. Taking after the killing, all Fulani herders supposedly fled the region for security in trepidation of response assaults The Wife of the perished, Mrs Prescilia Nwadei (née Egugbo) who was said to nurture a two months old child, was still in a state of unconsciousness taking after the terrible episode.
