Nigerian troops conveyed in Borno State have protected a few kidnapped persons, captured suspected Boko Haram terrorists, and recouped weapons and hardware, the armed force said in an announcement.
The troops of 81 Battalion and 251 Task Force Battalion, 25 Task Force Brigade on Monday got 79 persons who guaranteed to have been kept prisoners by Boko Haram terrorists at Ngwalimiri town yet got away at their area.
They involved 12 men, 24 ladies, 31 youngsters and 12 babies. Every one of them are experiencing preparatory examination and screening to decide their status before ahead development to Internally Displaced Persons camp for recovery, the announcement said.
