Kofi Olomide Charged To Court & Sentenced To 1 Year In Jail For Assaulting A Woman

Well known Congolese artist Koffi Olomide has been captured in the capital, Kinshasa. Reports say he was captured at his home after his ambush on a woman at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Kenya throughout the weekend; an occurrence that prompted his extradition from the nation.

The show at Zambia's Agricultural and Commercial Society, where he was planned to perform at the 90th release, was scratched off as a consequence of his activity.

As per BBC, he was accused of threatening behavior. There are reports that the artist has been sentenced to a one year correctional facility term for the offense.

A Congolese MP, Zacharie Bababaswe, had documented an objection against which prompted a capture warrant from the nation's prosecutor against Olomide.

Additionally, Kenyans on Twitter required his prompt capture and expelling after the strike.
