Mr Philip Ayuba, the Commandant of NSCDC in the state, told newsmen in Minna that the suspects were captured in Mokwa Local Government Area of the state.
He said that the suspects matured 34, 35 and 24 hail from Ekpa town in Mokwa.
"I welcomed you here to see three suspects that we captured on the ground of ownership of a human head.
"After we captured them, they admitted to us that they possess the human head,'' he said.
Ayuba said the suspects were captured on Thursday while arranging the offer of the head in Mokwa.
"Our work force put on a show to deal with them on the amount to pay before they were captured,'' he said.
The NSCDC manager said that the suspects had put forth confession booth expressions in composing, including that they would be given over to the police for further examination and arraignment.
The essential suspect told writers that his sibling had welcomed him to his home to see the human head and help with getting a purchaser.
"I searched for a purchaser for five months. So when I drew nearer one Isah to purchase the head he concurred and said that he has a purchaser in Mokwa.
"At the point when the purchaser came we began arranging the cost with him and it was in that procedure that we were captured,'' he said.
Another suspect guaranteed that the head had a place with a deteriorating female cadaver which was found amid a chasing campaign.
He said that he and another associate chose to remove the head and offer it to profit.
"Two of us chose in the shrubbery that we will offer the head to researchers and profit,'' he said.
