"No PTA of any solidarity school is permitted to start any advancement venture in any of the solidarity universities without the express or composed authorisation of the Federal Ministry of Education.
"The new measures are gone for capturing the stunning pattern where improvement demands forced on guardians by PTAs are getting to be higher than the school expenses charged by government which set up the solidarity schools,'' the service said.
The service said that the Minister, Malam Adamu, had noted unnecessary PTA demands in Kings College, Lagos, and Federal Science and Technical College, Yaba, Lagos.
It said that in the two schools, expenses charged for JSS1 in the primary term was N69, 400 while the PTA accumulation was N70, 000 at Kings and N74, 000 at Yaba.
"This brings the aggregate paid by guardians in these two schools to N139, 400 and N143, 400 individually.
"With the diminishment on improvement exacts and prohibition on charges for new undertakings and also pegging of the advancement toll to a greatest of N5, 000, guardians of JSS1 in these two schools will now pay N88, 000.
"I recognize the corresponding parts played by guardians and the backing gave by the PTA to the universities yet I won't permit the PTAs to constitute themselves into an administration inside a legislature at the level of solidarity schools and to the detriment of guardians,'' the service cited Adamu as saying.
It said that Adamu communicated worry that PTAs in solidarity schools had shaped themselves into national affiliations and said that running extra associations, for example, National Parents and Teachers Association of Federal Government Colleges, expanded the weight on guardians.
The News Agency of Nigeria reviews that NAPTAFEGC as of late rejected a claimed 300 for every penny increment in school expenses of solidarity schools.
Dr Gabriel Nnaji, National President of NAPTAFEGC, had told newsmen that the affirmed increment from N20, 000 to N75, 000, was inadmissible to guardians.
He said that a normal guardian with more than a youngster in solidarity schools would not have the capacity to manage the cost of the expense.
Be that as it may, Adamu, on Tuesday prevented information from securing the addition in expenses.
